Sana’a Foreign Ministry: Riyadh succumbed to American dictates and halted signing the roadmap

Sana’a’s Foreign Minister, Jamal Amer, called on the UN to continue working on implementing the roadmap signed with the Saudi side, expressing this clearly and publicly.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Minister Amer, during his meeting with the senior advisers of the UN envoy to Yemen, Fatima Zahra Al-Naki, and the director of the envoy’s office in Sana’a, Mohammed Al-Ghanam, stated that Riyadh, which he said, “succumbed to American dictates, halted the signing of the roadmap that was progressing well,” is the one concerned with convincing him to proceed with peace steps.

He indicated that “the American administration linked the implementation of the roadmap and the commencement of salary payments to Sana’a’s cessation of its military operations in the Red Sea, in support of the Zionist extermination war on the people of Gaza, a stance that was rejected due to the lack of connection between the two files,” confirming Riyadh’s submission to American directives.

Sana’a’s Foreign Minister reiterated the continuation of the Yemeni position in providing support and assistance to the Palestinian brothers until the military aggression is ended and food, medicine, and fuel enter the Gaza Strip, according to Saba News Agency.
