A new investigation conducted by the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has revealed details of a massacre committed by the Israeli occupation army that resulted in the martyrdom of more than 70 Palestinian civilians, most of them women, children and the elderly, the vast majority of whom are from the same family.
Euro-Med Monitor said in the investigation that the massacre was carried out during a large-scale military attack launched by the Israeli army on the residential block of the Shuhaiber family in the Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City over the course of 17-18 November 2023, using warplanes and drones, during which a number of residential buildings and civilians inside their homes and while burying their martyr relatives were directly targeted with shelling and gunfire.
The Euro-Med Monitor was able to verify the identities of 61 of the victims.
The Shehaiber family, including 27 children, 16 women, including 3 elderly women, and 18 men, including two elderly men, were not identified, as their bodies were turned into pieces.
