An Emirati plan presented to Trump includes a military escalation in Yemen

The US revealed on Wednesday the details of a new Emirati offer regarding Yemen, coinciding with the exhaustion of American forces with more defeats and setbacks within the context of the Yemen battle supporting Gaza.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Diplomatic and media sources reported that the plan was presented by UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed during his phone call with President-elect Donald Trump.

According to the sources, the plan includes merging the “Prosperity Guardian” alliance with a joint military alliance to protect the Red Sea and maritime navigation in the region.

One of the provisions of the plan involves direct American involvement in joint military operations in Yemen, in reference to plans to target the city of Hudaydah, one of Yemen’s last outlets on the Red Sea.

Arab countries, including those in the Gulf and allied with America, had rejected involvement in America’s alliance to protect Israel during the Biden administration due to disagreements between the parties, while these countries are pinning their hopes on Trump’s rise to reignite the fires already burning in the region.

The UAE is one of several Gulf states seeking future influence in the Red Sea, although it is not a coastal country, despite attempts to occupy or rent islands there as part of its plan to seize the strategic Yemeni passages on the New Silk Road.

It is worth mentioning that the UAE agreed to normalization during the era of former President Donald Trump.
