Gaza: raids on homes, schools housing displaced people

Israeli forces continue to exterminate northern Gaza, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense, 24 people, including women and children, were killed in airstrikes on homes and a school housing displaced people in the southern and northern Palestinian Strip.
“Since this morning, the number of people taken to hospitals or medical centers following Israeli air strikes” in Gaza has risen to 24, the Gaza Civil Defense spokesman said.
He explained that “at least eight dead and about 20 wounded were killed when the occupation aircraft bombed a shelter center in the UNRWA Abu Assi school in the northern beach camp in Gaza City.”
He pointed out that “the occupation aircraft carried out fire belts with a number of intensive and violent air raids on areas northwest of Gaza City and the beach camp.”
“Four victims and a number of injuries were recovered following an Israeli air strike that targeted a barbershop in the house of a citizen of the Ayoub family near the al-Shaabiya junction in the north of central Gaza City,” he said. The Israeli army “blew up more than 10 houses in Jabalya refugee camp with explosives”, he said.
