Yesterday, the British newspaper “The Guardian” published a report stating an unprecedented rise in the Zionist killing rates of children in the West Bank. The Zionist attacks have resulted in the martyrdom of 171 Palestinian children in the year following October 7, 2023.

According to the report, the number of Palestinian children who are now losing their lives is the highest since the Israeli army occupied the West Bank in 1967, noting that no Israeli soldier has been charged with any of the shootings of children.

The newspaper explained that Zionist attacks on Palestinian children in the occupied West Bank peaked in 2002 during the Second Intifada, with 85 children martyred. However, the rate of killing during the past year since October 7, 2023, reached twice this level.

As per the newspaper, most children were hit by live ammunition, often with a single bullet to the head or torso, while others were martyred by drones and airstrikes.

The report concluded that these flagrant violations of the rights of Palestinian children highlight the lack of accountability and justice under the ongoing Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.
