British Newspaper: Yemeni forces have imposed a new equation and threaten Western interests in the region

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The British newspaper “Daily Express” has revealed a significant shift in the military balance in Yemen, where the Yemeni armed forces referred to as the “Houthis” have become an increasingly strategic threat to the US and its allies.

The newspaper pointed out that the experience gained by the Yemeni forces during their confrontation with the military coalition led by Saudi Arabia has made them a professional military force capable of effectively striking Western interests. Describing the situation in Yemen as “out of control,” stressing that the Yemeni military operations, especially naval attacks, have demonstrated a remarkable ability to confuse American forces and their allies despite intensive efforts to stop them.

The report highlighted the Red Sea battle, describing it as a “disaster” for the US, as it drains the resources of the U.S. military and distracts its focus from other strategic priorities, especially in the Indian and Pacific Oceans, where tensions are escalating with major powers.

These developments come at a time when Yemeni forces have become a key player in the region, redrawing the conflict equations and raising questions about the effectiveness of Western strategies in confronting emerging threats.
