Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip lived a difficult night that witnessed a widespread and unprecedented escalation in the bombing of residential neighborhoods that coincided with the targeting of inhabited homes.
According to eyewitnesses, Israeli vehicles advanced from several axes towards residential neighborhoods in the North Governorate in the early hours of Wednesday, planting a number of barrel bombs and then repositioning again.
The witnesses added: “The bombing and bombing operations took place in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Beit Lahia project, and in the Rightly-Guided Caliphs Square in the heart of the Jabalia refugee camp.” Huge explosions were heard in various parts of the Gaza Strip as a result of bombing operations in the province.
Citizens said that “the sounds of explosions are the strongest and most violent heard since the start of the Israeli military operation on the northern Gaza Strip more than two months ago.”
Intensive Israeli bombardment continues on various areas of the Gaza Strip, especially the northern governorate, where the army has been carrying out a military operation since October 5, starting with a new ground invasion of the area aimed at displacing them.
