The Houthi: America will not reveal the truth of downing its “F-18” aircraft to preserve the morale of its soldiers

Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, said on Sunday that “the US Central Command will not disclose the truth of the US warplane downing,” indicating that Sana’a is the one that shot down the aircraft over the Red Sea.

Al-Houthi stated in a tweet on the “X” platform that “what the US is doing may be a tactic so that the morale of its soldiers does not further collapse,” stressing that “the terrorist actions against Yemen will not stop the support operations for Gaza.”

The US Central Command announced this morning that an American “F-18” fighter jet was shot down over the Red Sea by “friendly fire,” while the spokesman for the Yemeni forces announced that the aircraft was shot down while the destroyers were trying to confront the Yemeni drones and missiles.”
