America stirs controversy again over the status of the aircraft carrier in the Red Sea, and the resumption of missile strikes deepens the crisis
On Wednesday, America resumed stirring controversy over the fate of the American aircraft carrier “Truman” stationed in the Red Sea, following Yemen’s announcement of an attack, the third since it entered the region in mid-last month.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The US Central Command posted photos of the American aircraft carrier “Truman,” claiming that the photos were taken during its patrols in its area of operations.
In its tweet, accompanied by several photos, the American command attempted to showcase the carrier’s ability to resume air sorties, as well as showing part of its runway that has returned to service.
The publication of the photos came two days after Yemen announced that it had targeted it with a series of naval missiles and drones.
The attack is the third since “Truman” entered the Red Sea in mid-last month.
The American forces had acknowledged a few days ago the crash of an F/A-18 aircraft during confrontations in the Red Sea.
The photos published by the American forces for the first time have sparked controversy on social media about the status of the American aircraft carrier, which US media and military circles have begun to predict will sink.
Activists considered the photos as reflecting a difficult situation for the American fleet, at least it’s being out of service.
What further complicated the crisis was the resumption of the American forces’ aggression against Yemen by launching a missile from battleships and submarines instead of the airstrikes launched from aircraft carriers.
The US Central Command earlier today announced that it had carried out a new aggression on Sana’a and Amran, nearly two days after the previous Yemeni attack that occurred last Monday, although the Americans were used to retaliating against Yemeni attacks at the same time.
