New American admission of two attacks by Yemen
On Wednesday, the American forces revealed that the Yemeni forces had carried out two attacks on their battleships.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The US Central Command stated in a statement that the two attacks targeted warships and commercial vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, but the statement did not specify the timing of the attacks.
It was also unclear whether the American statement was referring to the operations previously announced by Sana’a earlier this week.
The American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in the Red Sea was the target of new attacks.
The latest American admission came a day after a new bombardment in Yemen, where the airstrikes targeted the governorates of Sana’a and Amran.
According to media outlets affiliated with Ansar Allah, the new aggression was carried out with seven missiles, five of which targeted Amran and two hit the hometown of the former president in Sana’a, Sanhan.
Yemen and US forces have been engaged in direct confrontations since America launched a coalition with Britain to aggress Yemen in January of last year.
Several Yemeni governorates, most notably Sana’a, Amran, Al-Hudaydah, and Sa’ada, have previously been subjected to American and British aggression.
The US is trying its best to contain the Yemeni operations supporting Gaza, but to no avail so far.
