Attempt to smuggle “Truman” to Abd Al-Kuri and reopen three civilian airports in eastern Yemen raises doubts about its intentions

On Wednesday, the US began exploring alternative options to secure the aircraft carrier in the Red Sea, as concerns about its sinking continue to escalate.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Western diplomatic sources reported that Washington discussed with the Israeli occupation the possibility of using the airports established by the Emirates on several Yemeni islands as support bases.

The sources indicated that the commander of the US Central Command, Michael Kurilla, raised the issue during his visit that began to Tel Aviv on Tuesday, noting that coordination is currently underway with Gulf and regional countries, without naming them, to complete the preparation of these airports.

According to the sources, the most prominent airport is on the island of Abd Al-Kuri, where work is in full swing to complete the airport.

The preparations did not only involve these airports, but America is also seeking to expand the deployment of its aircraft, fearing they may be targeted by Yemeni forces.

According to the sources, Washington is seeking to use airports in eastern Yemen.

The announcement by the Aden government of the resumption of work in three airports in the east of the country, the most prominent of which are Al-Rayyan in Hadramout, Ataq in Shabwa, and Al-Mahra, has sparked controversy over the objectives at this time.

These airports have remained closed for more than a decade, except for their use as Emirati-Saudi bases.

These movements reflect the scale of the American predicament in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, where their battleships have been the target of repeated Yemeni attacks.
