Why have Yemeni military operations escalated more at the beginning of 2025?

With the start of the new year, Yemeni missiles have begun a new era of intensified bombardment on Israeli settlements on an almost daily basis, causing a lack of security for the settlers and turning their nights and mornings into hell.

Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

This comes as the Israeli enemy continues to fail to stop the repeated Yemeni strikes, and its air defense systems of various layers have failed to confront the Yemeni missiles of valor, in addition to the failure of its aggression on Yemen.

This failure has made the Zionist settlers today to seriously consider fleeing the occupied lands after the ongoing Yemeni operations made them unsafe.

Speaking of fleeing, Israeli media revealed that Yemeni missiles caused more than 5 million settlers to flee to shelters in one of the latest strikes after they lost sleep.

According to the Hebrew media, the Yemeni missile strike that targeted the occupied depth on January 4th of the current year forced more than 5 million settlers to flee to shelters in a historic event.

The Hebrew media confirms that this flight, with this historic number of settlers, has not happened since the 1960s at the very least.

Sana’a’s forces had carried out a series of continuous operations that struck sensitive targets for the Israeli enemy in the occupied Palestinian depth, including power plants and airports.

The Yemeni strikes in the past few days targeted several power plants in the occupied Jaffa and Haifa, including the Orot Rabin power plant, which is responsible for providing more than 23% of the electricity needs of the enemy entity.

The Yemeni operations also struck Ben Gurion International Airport, causing a suspension of air traffic for several hours at the peak of its activity.

These Yemeni operations have escalated significantly at the beginning of the current year, coinciding with the start of the Hamas resistance movement’s ceasefire negotiations with the enemy.

Observers confirm that among the objectives of Sana’a’s escalation of the pace of its military operations is to strengthen the negotiating position of the resistance against the Israeli enemy in the negotiation round held in Doha.

In addition to all of that, the Yemeni air defenses had managed to shoot down a new American MQ-9 drone, raising the number of American aircraft shot down in Yemeni airspace to eighteen.

Among these downed aircraft are fourteen planes during the battle of the Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad.
