Yemen keeps Israeli ships under embargo and sets conditions for exempting British and American ships

On Monday, Yemen kept the Israeli ships on the embargo list in the Red Sea while setting conditions for exempting the American-British ships. This comes on the second day of the implementation of the Gaza agreement.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Associated Press reported, quoting sources in the Ansar Allah movement, that the Yemeni attacks will be limited to ships belonging to the Israeli occupation only, indicating that the final cessation of Yemeni operations is approaching with the implementation of all stages of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

For its part, the British Reuters agency reported that Yemen has set a condition to stop the British-American aggression in exchange for stopping the targeting of the ships of the two allies in the war on Yemen.

Although Yemen, through the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, had affirmed its commitment to the agreement to stop the war on Gaza and lift the phase, which it stipulates in exchange for stopping the operations to support Gaza, the lack of clarity on the extent of the occupation’s commitment to the remaining stages of the agreement and its attempts to maneuver keeps the Yemeni options open.

Limiting the attacks to Israeli ships indicates that Yemen has decided to maintain the first phase of escalation against the Israeli occupation, which was limited to targeting occupation ships.

Keeping the Israeli ships within the range of Yemeni targets reinforces the pressure on the occupation to abide by the agreement and not maneuver away from it.
