Following joint talks, Saudi Arabia confirms America’s decision to end the coalition to protect Israel in the Red Sea

On Saturday, Saudi Arabia confirmed American moves to end the coalition protecting the Israeli occupation in the Red Sea, following joint talks on the file of the truce.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The “Al-Hadath” channel quoted what it described as American sources, saying that the Trump administration is studying the announcement of the dismantling of the “Guardian of Prosperity” coalition.

The coalition, which includes Britain and some other small countries, was launched by former US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin from Tel Aviv last November, with the escalation of Yemeni operations against the Israeli occupation.

The disclosure of this trend came on the eve of talks at the level of the foreign ministers of America and Saudi Arabia, which were dedicated to the Red Sea file.

The US State Department confirmed the agreement between Minister Marco Rubio and Faisal bin Farhan on coordination regarding the Red Sea.

It was not clear whether Saudi Arabia had requested the termination of the US-British coalition or was being pressured to form a new coalition.

It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia had refused to engage in the US-British coalition and has remained demanding the cessation of aggression and the lifting of the siege on Gaza to reduce escalation in the Red Sea.

American media outlets had reported statements by naval leaders acknowledging the failure of the coalition in stopping Yemeni operations, while the Trump administration pre-empted the dismantling of the coalition by promoting new propaganda that it helped US forces benefit in a potential war with China, indicating that the American goal is to focus on confrontation with China.
