Has Yemen sent a message to the Israeli occupation?

The file of Yemen’s confrontations with the Israeli occupation returns to the forefront of the scene again, but does this merely reflect speculation about the situation if the Gaza agreement collapses, or has Yemen sent messages to the Israeli occupation?

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Two days ago, Abdel Bari Atwan, former editor-in-chief of “Al-Quds Al-Arabi” newspaper, spoke about Yemeni drone attacks targeting the heart of the Israeli occupation capital. According to Atwan’s information, the attacks were carried out using three drones.

Although Yemeni forces have not officially confirmed or denied this, it is likely that the attacks did indeed occur, and they are part of a list of operations often carried out by Yemeni forces without public announcement, with their objectives being more political than military.

In terms of timing, talk of the Yemeni operations came shortly after a meeting between the Iranian foreign minister and the head of the negotiating delegation, amid reports of a new American offer aimed at convincing Sana’a to halt operations supporting Gaza in exchange for lifting sanctions set to take effect within days.

Yemen’s position has remained steadfast, and Mohammed Abdul Salam reiterated Yemen’s monitoring of the agreement, linking the cessation of Yemeni operations to the occupation’s compliance with the agreement.

Perhaps Yemen wanted to send messages through these recent operations—either to inform the occupation of its ability to reach its capital again with greater capabilities or to emphasize that it is monitoring the agreement and will respond to violations.

What reinforces the narratives of the recent Yemeni attacks on Tel Aviv is the circulation of media outlets affiliated with Islah in news of allegations of airstrikes on Hudaydah. Although no official announcement has been made, and it remains unclear whether the explosions on the western coast were merely military exercises by Yemeni forces or actual raids, Hebrew media outlets have also dedicated space to talking about the possibility of a return of Yemeni attacks on the occupation, along with claims about identifying targets in Yemen to target.

This successive information, despite its lack of denial or confirmation, may be mere speculation, but it certainly indicates a behind-the-scenes movement carried out by Sana’a that has certainly terrified the occupation.
