“We are studying the military options”… Sana’a responds to a Saudi-American meeting with “fiery” military messages
The member of the “Supreme Political Council” in Sana’a, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, sent several military warning messages to the Americans and the Saudi-Emirati coalition on Tuesday, as an extension of similar warnings issued by the Minister of Defense of Sana’a, Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi, during the graduation of a new military batch.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar A-Yemeni:
In a speech on the occasion of the graduation of a combat batch named “Martyr of Islam and Humanity,” Al-Houthi said that “Yemen is studying its options towards the recent Saudi messages towards Yemen and its threat of participation in an upcoming war against Yemen,” indicating that Sana’a is preparing to respond militarily to Saudi Arabia.
He addressed messages to US President Donald Trump, saying, “We will seize peace by the power of our weapons and the power of our faith; we do not fear you nor do we terrorize you,” noting that “the weapons with which you threaten us are the weapons you have bombed Yemen with since the first day of the aggression,” in reference to the Saudi-Emirati coalition war on Yemen launched by him in March 2015.
Addressing the Saudis and Emiratis, he said, “In 2015, we did not have what we have today in terms of the accuracy of missiles and drones,” and he continued, saying, “We advise you not to repeat the attempt, and if you repeat the attempt to our Yemen, your aggression will be returned to you defeated in the worst defeat.”
Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi stressed that “Yemen doesn’t care about the various American threats towards Yemen,” reaffirming that “Yemen is committed to the promise of the Leader of the Revolution to the Palestinian resistance in the event that the enemy breaks the agreement.”
Sana’a’s military messages issued by Defense Minister Al-Atifi and Supreme Political Council member Al-Houthi come hours after a Saudi-American meeting in Washington to discuss escalation against the Yemeni people.
