US aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” commander: The Red Sea battle is the most complex since World War II

Exclusive – Al-Khabar A-Yemeni:

In an interview through a podcast yesterday, Tuesday, the commander of the US aircraft carrier “Eisenhower,” Captain Christopher R. Hill, revealed new details about the attacks launched by the Yemeni army on US warships in the Red Sea.

Hill said that the Red Sea battle was the most complex for the US Navy since World War II.

“There was something happening every day, whether it was a missile from the Yemenis or a drone, and these drones were massive,” he added.

He explained that in the Red Sea they faced Yemeni ballistic missiles that fly at high altitude at first and then return vertically, which is an unprecedented phenomenon in naval battles.

Hill also pointed out that the temperatures on board the ship in the Red Sea were unbearable, making sleep difficult, to the point that they were asking weather experts to find them a cooler spot in the Red Sea.
