Renewed explosions in Bab Al-Mandeb
The Bab Al-Mandeb region witnessed new explosions on Saturday, the second since Yemen announced its decision to ban navigation to Israeli ports.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Shipping sources reported that a series of explosions shook the most important shipping corridor in the morning, likely the result of a new Yemeni operation.
It was not yet clear whether the explosions were warnings or targeted ships or battleships.
The explosions are the second since the Yemeni forces announced the implementation of the decision to ban Israeli navigation in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
The Yemeni forces in their first stage focused on targeting ships belonging to the occupation or heading to its ports.
Previously, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement and the official in charge of the prisoner file, Abdulqader Al-Murtada, posted on his social media page a picture of military leaders while monitoring the progress of navigation control in the declared corridors from within their own operations room.
Al-Murtada indicated that no Zionist ship had passed in the past few days, indicating the companies’ compliance with Yemen’s decision.
It is worth mentioning that the UK Trade Operations Authority advised shipping companies to review the Yemeni conditions to avoid being targeted.
Over the past months of the operations in support of Gaza, Yemen has carried out dozens of naval operations that have affected more than two hundred ships, in addition to battleships and aircraft carriers.
A ship was seized and another was sunk, while many were hit with varying degrees of damage.
