23martyrs in Israeli raids on Gaza since dawn today
Twenty-three people have been killed and several others wounded since dawn on Tuesday as a result of a series of Israeli airstrikes on the central and southern Gaza Strip, targeting homes and tents housing displaced persons. This comes as part of an escalation that Israel resumed on March 18.
In Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians, including a child, were killed and others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Qizan al-Najjar area.
In Hamad City, north of Khan Yunis, three Palestinians, including a child, were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent housing displaced persons.
Previously, injuries were reported in the bombing of a house in the Musabah area of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
A Palestinian was also wounded in an airstrike east of Abasan al-Kabira. Five people were killed and more than 20 wounded in the targeting of a residential area in the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip and al-Nakhil Street in Deir al-Balah.
In the al-Zawayda area, Israeli warplanes targeted a house housing several displaced families, resulting in several injuries.
Israeli aircraft also launched three raids on targets in Gaza City, one of which targeted an empty jeep in the airspace area.
