OCHA: Survival is being dismantled in Gaza

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed on Sunday that the deteriorating situation and the bombing of hospitals are impacting its work. “We are facing difficulties in reaching victims and patients,” said Olga Cherefko, spokeswoman for the office in Gaza, in a statement. “The law is clear in imposing protection for civilians and health facilities.”

She added, “There is no longer time for talk about Gaza. We need immediate action.”

Since dawn on Sunday, April 13, 2025, enemy aircraft have continued their bombardment of various areas in the Gaza Strip, leaving dozens dead and wounded on the 27th day of the renewed war.

Enemy aircraft targeted the reception and emergency building at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City with two missiles, destroying the reception and emergency building.

Dozens of wounded and sick people were forced to sleep in the streets surrounding the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City after the enemy bombing.

At the same time, enemy aircraft bombed a tent inside the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, resulting in injuries.

The number of hospitals and health centers stormed and bombed during the war on the Gaza Strip has reached 36.
