Former Israeli General: The Al-Houthis have enough missiles to continue targeting Israel

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Israeli newspaper “Maariv” revealed that air raid sirens sounded across Israel yesterday as a result of a new missile attack carried out by the Yemeni armed forces, reflecting the continued threat of the Yemeni front despite a month of the intense and ongoing American bombing of the Yemenis in order to force them to stop their military front supporting Gaza against Israel by land and sea.

In a rare admission, Brigadier General (Res.) Dron Gavish, the former commander of the Air Defense Division in the Israeli occupation army, stated in an interview with one of the occupation’s radio stations, according to what was reported by the Maariv newspaper, which was monitored and translated by “Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni,” that “the Houthis still possess sufficient quantities of missiles” that allow them to continue the strikes on Israel, stressing that the American deterrence has failed to reduce their capabilities.

Gavish explained that the tension in the leadership of the Israeli home front has reached its peak, as the air raid sirens are forced to issue comprehensive warnings for all areas of the country, which creates a state of constant panic and disruption of the daily life pattern of the Zionist settlers, and he said that he “does not want to remain in the shelter all day.”

In a strange message, the Israeli reserve general added that “the American bombing not only targets the Houthis but also sends a message to countries like Saudi Arabia and Egypt, which have not witnessed direct American attacks for some time but are concerned with the conflict and its repercussions,” in a reference to the transformation of the American-Yemeni war into a regional conflict where interests and alliances intertwine in the way America wants, which includes an Arab alignment with America against Yemen in support of Israel against the Palestinian people and those who support them.

The Israeli Brigadier general added that Egypt and Saudi Arabia were partners with America in defensive moves but less partners in offensive moves, indicating Israel’s desire for these countries to be more involved with America in the latter’s offensive moves, especially with regard to the war on Yemen in defense of Israel.

This statement is a clear indication of the failure of the American-Israeli alliance in limiting Yemen’s military capabilities, but it also sounds the alarm about the possibility of a greater escalation that other countries in the region may become involved in, even indirectly, under American pressure, especially with the continued Yemeni ballistic operations targeting the depth of the occupation and the continued blockade of its maritime navigation in response to the aggression on Gaza.

It is worth noting that the latest Yemeni attack on the Israeli occupation with two ballistic missiles, one of which was hypersonic, targeted a military base and Ben Gurion Airport, causing the expansion of the air raid sirens to include almost all the occupied areas, indicating an evolution in the range and accuracy of the Yemeni missiles, which raises growing concern within the security and political establishments in Tel Aviv.
