Gunfire directed at residents and property vandalized: The occupation continues its aggression against Tulkarm

The occupation army continues its aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 83rd consecutive day, and for the 70th day against the Nur Shams camp, amid an escalation in raids, vandalism, and attacks on residents and their property.

Press sources reported that the city witnessed a heavy deployment of military vehicles and infantry units from the occupation army last night, amid heavy firing of live ammunition and sound bombs at vehicles and Palestinians.

The occupation forces detained a number of young men in the southern neighborhood, interrogated them on the spot, set up a military checkpoint, and began stopping vehicles and checking residents’ IDs, without any arrests being reported.

Infantry forces also stormed one of the eastern suburbs of the city, carrying out extensive combing and search operations, coinciding with the patrols of the Al-Uqda roundabout and Al-Firdaws Mosque at its northern entrance.

In Nour Shams camp, late last night, occupation soldiers fired heavy live ammunition at civilian homes in the Jabal al-Nasr area. This coincides with a daily deployment of occupation vehicles and foot patrols in the camp, wreaking havoc and destruction in its neighborhoods and residents’ property. An occupation bulldozer also began leveling the schoolyard in Tulkarm camp and closed its northern entrance with additional earth mounds, in an attempt to surround and isolate it from its surroundings.
