The sixth since morning… A Yemeni operation near the largest US base in the Indian Ocean
On Wednesday, Britain revealed a new Yemeni operation near one of the largest US bases in the Indian Ocean, just hours after the Yemeni forces carried out five new military operations.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations “UKMTO” reported that it had recorded what it described as a new “incident” in the Indian Ocean, explaining that the operation, whose details were not disclosed, caused water to flow into the engine room of a cargo ship believed to be linked to the Israeli occupation, implying that it was targeted.
The incident occurred more than 500 nautical miles away, i.e., in the vicinity of the Diego Garcia Island, which the US forces use as an advanced base in the Indian Ocean for their new war on Yemen.
It is unclear whether the operation targeted a ship related to the occupation or carries a message to the US forces, but its timing reveals a significant escalation in the pace and expansion of Yemeni operations by land and sea, as it comes hours after the Yemeni forces announced a series of military operations, two of which targeted military targets in the occupied cities of Jaffa and Haifa, in addition to a new targeting of the US aircraft carriers “Vinson” in the Arabian Sea and “Truman” in the Red Sea, not to mention the downing of an American “MQ-9” spy drone in the airspace of the Hajjah governorate.
