Israeli admission of the success of the Yemeni blockade imposed on the usurping entity
Amidst the escalating security threats resulting from the Yemeni aerial attacks with missiles and drones, international air traffic to the occupation entity is witnessing an increasing paralysis.
Follow ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The decisions of global airlines to suspend their flights to the occupation’s airports continue, especially after the recent incident in which a missile fell near Ben Gurion Airport.
Prominent Israeli patrols confirmed that the resumption of these flights seems far-fetched in the near future, noting that large companies like Lufthansa will not resume their activities unless there is tangible and effective regional stability.
In statements to the Hebrew newspaper Maariv, a senior official at Ben Gurion Airport said that the resumption of air traffic may require fundamental changes in the security landscape or political steps on the scale of peace agreements, considering that the current situation does not encourage foreign companies to return.
He also pointed out that Israeli policies in the aviation sector suffer from a structural flaw due to excessive reliance on foreign airlines, which was not calculated within the possible scenarios, adding that the new reality has placed Israel in an aerial isolation that has led to massive economic losses and a sharp decline in the tourism and business sectors.
