After America… Israel dispenses with its traditional defense system
The Israeli occupation revealed, on Thursday, a new trend to dispense with traditional defense systems, making it the second country after the US, coinciding with its failure to intercept the Yemeni attacks in support of Gaza.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz affirmed the occupation’s intention to rely on a new system known as “Keren Aur.”
Katz’s statements came on the eve of the occupation lifting the secrecy on a project to develop an air defense system.
The occupation published clips of the new system’s attempt to intercept a drone through a laser system.
Katz described the system as the “weapon of the future,” even though an American company is developing it.
These steps indicate the occupation’s trend, which has the strongest air defense systems in the region, to dispense with them.
The occupation has 3 of the strongest defense systems, most notably the Iron Dome, Arrow, and Hatz, all of which have failed to intercept missile and drone attacks, whether from Yemen or elsewhere.
Although the extent of the new system’s effectiveness has not yet been clarified, as no real tests have been recorded, except for some experimental models created by the occupation, some of which are virtual, it confirms the scale of the changes brought about by Yemen in the region, especially since the occupation is the second country that has engaged in confrontations with Yemen and decided to dispense with its traditional air defense systems, at the forefront of which is the US, which announced its direction to establish the “Golden Dome” despite having Patriot and THAAD systems, all of which have failed to repel the Yemeni attacks, whether on the occupation or on battleships and ships in the Red Sea.
