A new incident for a ship 49 miles south of Hudaydah, Yemen


The Ambrey Maritime Navigation Company announced on Monday the occurrence of an incident for a ship 49 miles southwest of Hudaydah, Yemen.

Ambrey stated in the statement published on the website that the ship began drifting in an unknown direction after its engines failed.

The Greek Maritime Transport Authority stated that a second attack on a bulk cargo ship flying the Liberian flag in the Red Sea within 24 hours resulted in the death of two people and the injury of two others among the crew.

Cosmoship Management, the company that manages the C. ETERNITY ship and is based in Piraeus, told Reuters that the ship was attacked by drones and small naval boats in the Red Sea.

A Cosmoship official said the ship’s bridge was hit, adding that communications were affected and contacting the crew became difficult.
