The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the recording of 11 deaths due to famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that “the total number of deaths has risen to 212, including 98 children.” For its part, the Government Media Office in Gaza announced that “83 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip, most of which were looted and robbed amidst the deliberate security chaos created by the Israeli army.
It added that the total number of trucks entering Gaza over the course of 13 days amounted to only 1,115 aid trucks out of a projected 7,800, meaning that what entered is equivalent to approximately 14% of the actual needs.
The statement continued: “The Gaza Strip needs more than 600 different aid trucks daily to meet the minimum needs of 2.4 million people, amid the near-total collapse of infrastructure due to the ongoing war and genocide.” It held Israel fully responsible for the humanitarian catastrophe.
It called on the United Nations, Arab and Islamic countries, and the international community to take serious action to open the crossings and ensure the flow of aid.
