The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that Palestinians in the West Bank are facing the worst displacement crisis since 1967.
UNRWA explained in a brief statement on Saturday that the occupation has forced more than 42,000 Palestinians in the West Bank to flee their homes in recent months, as a result of escalating attacks by the occupation and settlers.
The agency indicated that the increasing wave of displacement comes amid ongoing violations and the deprivation of thousands of families of security and stability, exacerbating the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in various areas of the West Bank.
The occupation forces continue their aggression on Jenin and its camp for the 250th consecutive day, with ongoing destruction in the camp, the construction of roads at the expense of residents’ homes, and the prevention of displaced persons from returning to what remains of them. Meanwhile, the resistance continues to escalate its attacks through clashes and the detonation of explosive devices.
As the military operation and aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp continues for the 244th consecutive day, and for the 231st day in the Nur Shams camp, amid raids, arrests, and incursions.
