The Director-General of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said, “We are seeking to restore a minimum level of health services in the Strip,” stressing, “We are currently working to improve the health sector in the Strip and limit the extent of the damage.”
The Director-General of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed that 17,000 patients need immediate travel outside the Strip.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza estimates that more than 47% of essential medicines and 65% of medical supplies are out of stock, making treatment for patients with chronic diseases, cancer, and serious injuries nearly impossible in the Strip’s hospitals. Amid this collapse, thousands of patients have no choice but to wait for treatment outside the Strip, but they find themselves trapped in a complex mechanism directly controlled by Israel.
