Five Palestinians were injured on Wednesday evening after being brutally assaulted by Israeli occupation forces in the Jabal Johar area, south of Hebron.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced in a brief statement that its crews treated five injuries resulting from the assault by occupation soldiers during the ongoing raid on the area. The injured were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
These attacks come as the occupation forces continue their large-scale military campaign in Hebron for the third consecutive day, which has included a heavy deployment in several neighborhoods and raids on Palestinian homes.
Local sources reported on Wednesday that the occupation forces deployed additional reinforcements to the city and conducted searches and field interrogations of residents in their homes.
The sources indicated that the occupation army imposed strict measures, including a curfew in the southern areas of Hebron, leading to a near-complete paralysis of movement and a halt to daily life.
The military campaign has so far resulted in the arrest of at least seven Palestinians, while raids and arrests continue in various parts of the city.
