Sana’a | Parliament issues an important call to regional and international unions and parliaments

The Presidency of the House of Representatives in Sana’a condemned the ongoing American escalation in the region, considering it a direct threat to regional and international security and stability.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Parliamentary Presidency considered the statements issued by US President Donald Trump towards the Islamic Republic of Iran to represent blatant interference in its internal affairs and a clear violation of its sovereignty, affirming that such positions constitute a transgression of international law and humanitarian norms.

It affirmed Yemen’s solidarity with Iran in facing the threats it is exposed to, calling on regional and international unions and parliaments to condemn the American moves that contribute to fueling conflict and destabilizing stability.

The authority stressed that the American escalation doesn’t target Iran alone but poses a real danger threatening world peace and security.

In a related context, the authority renewed its condemnation of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, holding the US legally and morally responsible for the crimes committed against civilians as a principal partner in supporting the Israeli occupation.
