French confirmation of damage to the American aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea
France confirmed on Thursday that the American aircraft carrier stationed in the Arabian Sea had been hit. This follows the Revolutionary Guard’s announcement that it had targeted it again.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The AFP news agency quoted sources as saying that the aircraft carrier “USS Abraham Lincoln” had indeed sustained damage.
The spokesman for “Khatam Al-Anbiya” in Iran had previously confirmed that the battleship was targeted with drones.
According to the Iranian military spokesman, the American fleet was targeted 350 kilometers off the Iranian waters.
The aircraft carrier, accompanied by other battleships, was attempting to advance towards the Strait of Hormuz, which has been closed for days.
The American fleet was forced to pull the “Lincoln” more than 1,000 kilometers away from Iranian waters, according to the source.
Although this is not the first time Iran has shelled the American fleet positioned between the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, it is the first time that it has caused damage.
Hitting the aircraft carrier is an indication that it may soon be sunk, as Iran has promised.
