Israeli analyst admits failure: Hezbollah is in a better position than we thought, and what is happening is the beginning of a dangerous phase
The “Israeli” analyst, Avi Issacharoff, admitted in a report for the “Yedioth Ahronoth” newspaper that Hezbollah is still in a better position than what Israeli intelligence agencies believed, denying any indications of the party’s disintegration or decline in its combat capabilities.
Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Issacharoff said, “Unfortunately, Hezbollah is in a better position than we thought, and there are no indications of its disintegration… The party’s combat system is still functioning, as is its missile arsenal,” in a frank admission of the failure of Israeli estimates that spoke of destroying the party’s capabilities.
This “Israeli” admission came after Hezbollah announced the execution of Operation “Chewed Up Straw,” where Hebrew media revealed that the party launched more than 150 rockets within just 3 hours towards wide areas in northern occupied Palestine, the largest rocket barrage since the start of the current war.
Sirens sounded in the cities of Haifa and Nahariya and a large number of settlements and towns in the Galilee amid a state of maximum alert on the Israeli home front and reports of rockets falling in several locations.
In a notable development, “Israeli Knesset member Oren Hazan” warned in a statement to channel “i24” that what happened today could be an indicator of a new and dangerous phase.
Hazan said, “When I see the scale of the launches that Hezbollah is carrying out today, I think it is preparing something much bigger for us later. We must be ready and vigilant. This Hezbollah barrage isn’t the end of the event but its beginning.”
He added, “Hezbollah has declared war on Israel for the first time and has chosen its name, and this indicates that what we saw today may be the daily rate we will see from now on,” referring to an unprecedented escalation in the pace of operations.
This operation constituted a strong blow to the claims of the “Israeli” occupation that it had promoted during the past periods, in which it claimed that it had eliminated Hezbollah’s missile capabilities and destroyed a large part of its arsenal.
The operation comes in response to the ongoing Israeli violations and aggressions on Lebanese territory, practically affirming that the resistance still holds the initiative and is capable of delivering painful and surprising blows to the occupying entity.
