A new strike on “Tsenobar”… Why does Hezbollah return to targeting this particular Israeli base?
Occupied Golan – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah, announced today the targeting of the “Tsenobar” logistics base in the occupied Syrian Golan with a rocket barrage as part of its series of operations in response to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
What is the Tsenobar 651 Base?
The “Tsenobar 651” base is considered one of the important logistics bases belonging to the Northern Command of the Israeli occupation “army” and is located deep in the occupied Syrian Golan, approximately 18 kilometers from the Lebanese border.
What does the base contain?
The base contains a main artillery ammunition center belonging to the Israeli regional logistics unit and is also used as a training site for Israeli infantry forces.
The base is protected by the Iron Dome air defense system due to its strategic importance as a main ammunition depot in the north.
Its Military Importance:
The base derives its importance from being one of the vital logistics centers that supplies the northern front with ammunition and equipment, especially with the escalation of confrontations on the border with Lebanon.
Targeting it constitutes a direct blow to the occupation’s ability to supply its combat units along the northern front.
Previous Targeting:
It is noteworthy that the “Tsenobar” base was previously targeted by Hezbollah on May 17, 2024, with 50 Katyusha rockets and was subjected to another attack on August 21 of the same year, according to media reports.
