Failure of a new American plan to control Hormuz

The US failed on Sunday to implement a new plan to control the Strait of Hormuz, the most important oil passage in the Gulf.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Countries allied with the US announced their rejection of US President Donald Trump’s offer to restore the opening of the vital, important strait.

France confirmed in a statement its refusal to send any battleships to the strait. France is the second country to which Trump officially extended an invitation to participate in a new international coalition to open the strait.

Japan had confirmed that it makes its own decisions, confirming its unwillingness to send any ships to the strait. Britain and South Korea also didn’t endorse the American plan and merely commented by studying the proposal, in an attempt to avoid Trump’s reaction.

Earlier on Saturday, Trump had invited several countries to send battleships under his country’s leadership to control the strait. The American offer came as American forces failed for the third consecutive week to open the strait through military force.

The Trump administration is trying to pass the ball to the world to relieve it from the repercussions of the Hormuz nightmare, which now threatens Trump’s entity and threatens the future of his party, especially with continued high oil prices amid expectations they will approach $200 per barrel.
