Gaza: 173 Days of Violations… Martyrs Killed by Israeli Fire

For the 173rd consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through artillery and airstrikes, as well as gunfire from military vehicles and naval vessels. These violations are accompanied by the demolition and destruction of buildings and civilian infrastructure across the Strip.

Nine Palestinians were injured, one critically, when Israeli drones targeted civilians on the Rafah beach this afternoon. One of the injured, Ibrahim Muhammad Ahmad Breika, later succumbed to his wounds, according to local sources.

Two Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Tuesday afternoon in an Israeli airstrike south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Nasser Medical Complex reported today the arrival of two bodies, one of them a child, and several wounded individuals following a missile strike from a reconnaissance drone in the Al-Bayouk area south of Khan Younis.

One Palestinian was killed and others wounded early Tuesday morning when an Israeli drone targeted the communications intersection in the Al-Falouja area, west of Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Areas northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip were subjected to heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.

Israeli military vehicles continued firing south of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, while Israeli naval vessels also opened fire intensively off the coast of Khan Younis.

The Israeli occupation continues to impose a tight siege on more than two million people in the Gaza Strip, closing crossings, tightening military measures, and preventing the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.

Since the ceasefire on October 11, 2015, the total number of Palestinians killed as a result of Israeli violations has reached 704, while the number of injuries has reached 1,914, according to official data issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
