The first Gulf country declares a state of emergency as naval and aerial attacks renew

Today, the UAE declared a state of emergency for the first time since the announcement of the truce between America and Iran. This coincides with the return of confrontations in Hormuz.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The UAE Ministry of Interior issued an alert moments ago urging everyone to take shelter in safe buildings, confirming there is a threat of a missile attack. The Ministry didn’t specify the source of the attack.

Earlier in the morning, the UAE was subjected to a naval attack, resulting in an oil tanker being hit near the port of Fujairah on the Arabian Sea. These new developments come as tensions return between the US and Iran.

Earlier today, Hormuz witnessed confrontations amid Iranian confirmations of hitting an American battleship. It is worth noting that Iran had informed Gulf countries that it would bomb the UAE if American aggression against it was repeated.

The UAE is the only one that boasted of participating in the American-Israeli aggression, with officials there declaring victory, following America’s announcement of a truce several weeks ago.

The US uses the UAE as one of its advanced Gulf bases.

Abu Dhabi is counting on the success of the aggression to achieve geopolitical gains, most notably taking center stage in light of unlimited Israeli support instead of Saudi Arabia, the largest country in the region.
