When Palestinian Hijazi Shawar al-Tamimi, head of the al-Tamimi family, and other residents tried to return to their homes in the Deir Baha and al-Jalda neighborhoods of Hebron in the southern West Bank, from which they had been forcibly displaced, the Israeli occupation army prevented them, threatening to use force.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, al-Tamimi said that the displacement affected thousands of residents, including children, sick women, and the elderly, who were helpless and powerless.
