Gaza Health Ministry said more than 90 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes over the past 48 hours, as Israel intensifies its attacks across Gaza to increase pressure on Hamas to release prisoners and disarm.
Medical teams said the dead included at least 15 people who died overnight, including women and children, some of whom had taken shelter in a designated humanitarian area.
Medical teams added that at least 11 people were killed in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis, many of them in a tent in the Mawasi area, where hundreds of thousands of displaced people live. The Israeli occupation forces had designated Mawasi as a safe zone.
Four others were killed in separate bombings in the city of Rafah, including a mother and her daughter, according to the European Hospital, where the bodies were brought.
