Israeli forces continued Yesterday, Saturday, their escalating aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 146th consecutive day, and for the 133rd day on the Nur Shams camp, and for the second consecutive day on a number of towns located north and east of the governorate, amid ongoing demolition operations and a tightening of the military siege.
Three military bulldozers belonging to the occupation army began demolishing more residential buildings in the Nur Shams camp, bringing the number of buildings demolished in the camp over the past weeks to more than 20. Over the past fourteen days, the Tulkarm camp has witnessed the demolition of more than 50 buildings, leaving widespread destruction and creating large holes and streets in several neighborhoods and their surroundings. The occupation forces continue to impose a tight siege on the two camps and their surroundings, with infantry units and military vehicles deployed in alleys and entrances, preventing residents from reaching their homes, and opening fire on anyone who attempts to approach. In the same context, the occupation forces sent additional military reinforcements to the city, amid intense movement of their military vehicles on Market Street, Martyr Thabet Thabet Hospital Street, Nablus Street, and the northern neighborhood. They deliberately obstructed the movement of citizens and vehicles, blaring provocative horns and driving against traffic. The occupation forces continue to transform Nablus Street into a military barracks, seizing residential buildings and homes in the northern neighborhood opposite Tulkarm camp, while deploying bulldozers and heavy machinery in the vicinity.
