They have become “skin and bones.” Hundreds of infants in Gaza face death due to a lack of milk

Doctors in Gaza have warned that hundreds of infants are at risk of death due to a severe shortage of baby formula due to continued Israeli restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged Strip.
On June 19, Gaza hospitals issued repeated warnings that they were nearly completely depleted of baby formula, threatening an “imminent humanitarian disaster” threatening the lives of hundreds of infants.
However, the warnings received no international response, and Israel’s starvation policy continues. Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings and prevented the entry of any food or medical supplies, pushing Gaza into a state of complete famine, according to UN reports.
Mohammed Abu Afash, director of the Medical Relief Organization in Gaza, confirmed that the occupation is deliberately preventing the entry of any type of formula into the Strip, while hundreds of children suffer from malnutrition.
In an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, he indicated that there are no nutritional components to compensate for the lack of formula for children in the Strip.
