Health services have been suspended due to the occupation’s insistence on imposing a fuel embargo

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday the suspension of several health facilities’ services, as a result of the Israeli occupation’s insistence on preventing the World Health Organization from bringing fuel into hospitals in Gaza and the northern Gaza Strip.

The ministry explained in a statement today that the health facilities that have ceased operation include: the Public Service Hospital, the Central Oxygen Station, the Peace Clinic, the Beach Clinic, the Al-Jalaa Medical Center, and the Dr. Haidar Abdel Shafi Medical Center. It warned that the remaining hospitals in the Gaza Strip will close within just 48 hours.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza considered that the occupation is targeting what remains of the health system by insisting on halting and preventing the supply of fuel and medical supplies to hospitals.
