Gaza Interior Ministry: Airdrops of aid cause deaths and increase chaos amid famine

The Ministry of Interior in Gaza announced on Wednesday that airdrops of aid to the Strip have resulted in civilian deaths and injuries, as well as the destruction of tents and the property of displaced people.
The ministry accused Israel of exploiting these operations as a means to “intensify chaos” as part of its “starvation engineering” policy linked to the ongoing genocide in the Strip.
The ministry explained in a statement that “the Israeli occupation is exploiting the airdrops of aid boxes to deepen chaos and thuggery, and to spread gangs of thieves and bandits.”
It noted that these operations have resulted in casualties, including women and children, as a result of stampedes or the aid falling directly on homes and tents, the latest of which occurred on Wednesday in the northern Gaza Strip.
