On Wednesday, the US military lifted secrecy on the most dangerous moments of the confrontations in Yemen, amid widespread criticism of its failure in the war.

US media outlets circulated images from video footage shown by the US military to Congress.
The images show the moment Yemeni air defense missiles intercepted a US Hellfire missile.
The New York Times reported that the footage was shown by the US military during a secret session in Congress last week.
The footage shows the sudden emergence of the Yemeni missile to intercept the more technologically advanced US missile as soon as it was launched from an MQ-9 drone.
According to the newspaper, the footage was recorded during operations off the Yemeni coast, referring to the Red Sea.
Although US forces have launched repeated campaigns against Yemen since last year, culminating in the first two months of this year, this is the first time that US forces have revealed the extent of the hell they have encountered there.
It appears that US forces have admitted the fall of dozens of MQ-9 drones and F-18 fighter jets, in addition to withdrawing several aircraft carriers and battleships due to repeated targeting. However, the footage suggests that they are trying to convince members of Congress of the reasons for the failure of the world’s superpower against Yemen.
