The Ministry of Health in Gaza announces it has received the bodies of 45 Palestinians from Israel

Hamas Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today that it had received the bodies of 45 Palestinians from Israel, bringing the total number of Palestinian bodies received under the ceasefire agreement to 270.

Under the terms of the agreement in force since October 10, under the auspices of the United States, Israel returns 15 Palestinians to each body it receives as an Israeli hostage held in Gaza.

Today, Israel confirmed that the remains handed over by Hamas on Sunday belonged to three soldiers, who were killed during the October 7 attack, 2023.

During the October 7th attack, 251 people were kidnapped, most of whom were released, rescued, or their bodies were recovered before the last ceasefire agreement.
