The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation is a false humanitarian cover and a death trap for civilians

The Government Media Office confirmed that the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which announced yesterday the end of its operations at aid distribution points in the Gaza Strip, was a false humanitarian front that transformed aid centers into death traps and sites of mass killing.

In a press statement, the office indicated that the foundation was directly involved in luring starving civilians into organized death traps, planned and managed within the American-Israeli system, under the guise of humanitarian work. It was a key partner in creating scenes of mass killing and a practical executor of the most dangerous scheme targeting civilians through starvation and genocide.

The Government Media Office confirmed with figures that the Israeli occupation transformed the foundation’s aid distribution centers into sites of mass killing, deliberately and systematically targeting civilians. 2,615 victims of starvation who arrived at hospitals were killed, in addition to 19,182 injuries. Among these martyrs, 1,506 were killed by the occupation forces while awaiting aid, and 1,109 were killed inside US-Israeli centers, including 225 children, 852 adults, and 32 elderly people.

The statement clarified that these incidents clearly reveal that what were called “humanitarian centers” were in reality sites for luring and summarily executing civilians, death traps, and not relief or protection points.

The office also affirmed that these violations constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity, and are part of a policy of genocide through starvation. It held the occupation authorities, the officials of the GHF Foundation, and the US entities sponsoring the foundation fully responsible for these crimes, which will be subject to legal prosecution.
