The Palestinian Prisoners Club announced that Israeli occupation forces detained approximately 60 Palestinians since dawn on Wednesday during a large-scale raid on the Tubas Governorate. Those detained included children, families of martyrs, and released prisoners. In a statement released today, the Club explained that the occupation forces carried out extensive acts of sabotage and destruction targeting infrastructure during their aggression. Soldiers also converted a number of Palestinian homes into military outposts for use as bases during the operation.
The Tubas Governorate has been experiencing a widespread and continuous assault since midnight last night. Large numbers of Israeli occupation forces, supported by heavy military bulldozers, are participating in the attack, exacerbating the destruction and widening the scope of the targeted area.
The Prisoners Club noted that since the beginning of this year, the occupation forces have arrested approximately 330 Palestinians from the Tubas Governorate, marking an unprecedented escalation in arrests. This surge is occurring in parallel with arrests in the Jenin and Tulkarm Governorates, as a result of the ongoing intensive Israeli military campaign in the northern West Bank.
