Health officials in Gaza: 12 martyrs in 48 hours, and the death toll from the aggression rises

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today that 12 Palestinians were killed and 7 wounded in the past 48 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The ministry explained that among the dead were 4 newly identified victims, in addition to 8 bodies recovered from under the rubble. It noted that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them.

According to the ministry’s daily statistical report, the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 11, 2025, has risen to 405, while the number of wounded has reached 1,115, and the number of bodies recovered has reached 649.

The ministry added that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 70,937, with 171,192 wounded. In a related context, the Ministry of Health recorded the death of 4 citizens as a result of the collapse of a building, which raises the number of victims of building collapses due to the weather depression to 15 deaths.
