The Ansar Allah leader reviews the coalition’s economic war tools on Yemen and confirms their continuation
The leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, confirmed that the “Aggression Coalition” waged a comprehensive war against Yemen, including systematic bombing of civilian facilities and daily life, alongside a long-term economic blockade.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
In a speech today, Al-Houthi said that the Saudi-Emirati coalition “targeted ports and government centers of all kinds,” and it even reached the point of “targeting livestock wealth and chicken farms,” pointing out that the execution of “hundreds of thousands of air raids” was carried out randomly, affecting all aspects of life.
Al-Houthi focused on the path of the blockade and economic war, indicating that the coalition seized control of the “sovereign and oil wealth” of the Yemenis and deprived them of it. This wealth previously represented the main financial resource for services and employee salaries.
He explained that the tools of this economic war included controlling ports, preventing flights, severely restricting ships’ access to Al Hudaydah port, and completely preventing the arrival of “food, medicine, fuel, and petroleum derivatives.”
The Ansar Allah leader stated that the coalition, with American supervision and engineering, executed various conspiracies against the central bank and its revenues, weakened institutions and companies, and targeted factories, markets, and farms under the label of “economic targeting.”
Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi reiterated that “the economic war on our people, depriving them of their sovereign wealth, and the various measures in imposing the blockade are still ongoing.”
