Instructions for “Homeland Shield” Forces to Withdraw from the Coast Fronts

Field sources reported on Thursday that members of the Saudi-backed so-called “Homeland Shield” forces have received instructions from their leadership to withdraw from all western coast fronts and leave towards the south, following the collapses in the ranks of Saudi-loyal forces on all combat axes in the face of Sana’a forces’ strikes.

The sources explained that all military brigades and forces belonging to the Homeland Shield are expected to withdraw from the coast and the city of Al-Mokha in the coming few hours to their headquarters at Al-Anad Military Base.

The sources indicated that the Saudi instructions suggest the possibility of the imminent fall of the city of Al-Mokha and its control by Sana’a forces, which hours earlier took control of the strategic Khalid ibn al-Walid camp in Muzai’, southwest of Sana’a, and fully liberated the districts south of Hudaydah.

Saudi Arabia had pushed formations of large Homeland Shield forces, led by their commander Abdulrahman Al-Lahji, to the city of Al-Mokha and the coast fronts in recent days, with the aim of reinforcing the resilience of its forces on the western coast fronts.
